The infrastructure is designed to ensure quality production, both in the stables and in the state-of-the-art laboratory
Health monitoring:
- Approvals issued by the FASFC (Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain)
- Computer program for stable management, animal movements, analyses
- Traceability from bull to straw
Carefully selected semen
Specific strengths of the BBB:
- Selection of bulls for intake. The semen is analysed with CASA and the flow cytometer on several parameters
- Quality control of fresh seed and possible rejection before and after freezing
- Higher concentration of sperm cells in the straws
Visiting area adapted to hygiene rules
Two of our three centres have glazed viewing corridors which always allow for a safe and sanitary view of our bulls.
